Summary/Objective:
The Conversion Palletizer is responsible for safe and efficient operation of production machinery.
Specific Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Conduct daily safety inspection of work area and addresses noted issues
- Prepares production supplies including tape, cores, and solvent
- Conducts daily inspection and preventative maintenance of machinery
- Conducts general set up of production machinery
- Installs plates, rollers, guides, blades, and related equipment on machinery
- Reads job specification sheet to determine job requirements
- Enters tolerances and parameters into machine computer
- Loads, centers, and webs product into proper machine
- Maintains proper speeds and settings of machinery throughout shift
- Routinely checks product samples against job specifications
- Conducts quality procedures including inspection of finished goods for quality defects
- Completes required paperwork for each job
- Packs finished product for shipment to customer
- Cleans up machine and work area
- Meets production and quality goals
- Assists in training of new employees
- Assists with other tasks as needed
- Complies with all Plant RulesAll other appropriate duties as assigned by the management team
