Hybrid Remote Houston, TXSupply ChainJob TypeFull-time
Description:
Fervo Energy is applying first-principles engineering and a manufacturing mindset to geothermal power — an industry that has operated the same way for decades. We are not building one-off power plants. We are building a product: GeoBlock, a standardized, repeatable geothermal generation unit designed to get cheaper, faster, and more reliable with every iteration. Supply Chain is not a support function here. Our job is to be embedded with Engineering early — shaping electrical equipment specs and supplier strategy before decisions are locked in, not sourcing against a finished design. The Sourcing Manager, Electrical owns category strategy and execution for Fervo's electrical equipment scope — transformers, breakers, switchgear, motors, drives, and balance-of-plant electrical systems. This role partners directly with Engineering on specification decisions, builds competitive supplier options where categories have historically defaulted to a single vendor, and negotiates agreements that determine both cost and schedule risk for every GeoBlock.
