Fire Protection Service Sales Representative

Johnson Controls seeks a Fire Maintenance Agreement Sales Representative to drive growth of fire protection service contracts for commercial and industrial customers. In this role, you’ll prospect and qualify leads, assess customer fire and life-safety needs, and craft tailored maintenance agreements that enhance system reliability, safety, and compliance. You’ll partner with technical and operations teams to develop accurate proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure smooth handoff to service delivery, while building long-term relationships and meeting or exceeding sales targets in a collaborative, innovation-driven culture. Prospect and qualify commercial and industrial customers for fire maintenance agreements Assess customer fire protection systems and compliance needs Develop and present tailored service and maintenance agreement proposals Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools Collaborate with technical and operations teams for accurate scoping and delivery Ensure smooth handoff from sale to service implementation Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive renewals and upsells Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics Stay current on fire codes, standards, and Johnson Controls solutions B2B sales Fire protection systems knowledge Maintenance/service agreement structuring CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) Contract negotiation Pipeline management Customer relationship management Proposal development Basic financial analysis/quoting Presentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k NICET Fire Protection Certification (preferred) NFPA fire codes knowledge Sales training or certifications (e.g., CPSP) Valid driver’s license
