Requirements
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in an outside sales or business development role.
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas.
Previous experience selling staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions is a strong plus.
Experience selling directly to founders, co-founders, CEOs, business owners, HR Directors, Heads of People, and other senior decision-makers is highly preferred.
Understanding of how businesses make hiring decisions, including the challenges associated with recruiting, talent shortages, labor costs, and workforce planning.
Experience prospecting, generating leads, managing a pipeline, and closing new business.
Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in meeting people and developing professional connections.
Comfortable cold calling, visiting businesses in person, attending networking events, and creating opportunities from scratch.
Experience selling HR services, payroll, SaaS, technology, professional services, or other B2B solutions is a plus.
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand business challenges and communicate solutions.
Self-motivated, organized, competitive, and accountable.
Comfortable following a structured sales process and being measured against activity and revenue goals.

Must be based in the San Diego area and available for regular in-person meetings, business visits, and networking events.
Reliable transportation for local business development activities.
The Person Who Will Crush This RoleYou genuinely enjoy meeting people.
You're the kind of person who walks into a networking event and leaves with five new relationships. You're comfortable picking up the phone, introducing yourself to a business owner, or walking into an office to make a connection.
You don't wait for opportunities to come to you. You create them.
You understand how business owners and HR leaders think. You know that hiring isn't just about filling an open position. It's about finding great people, controlling costs, and building a team that can support the business.
You know how to ask the right questions, uncover hiring challenges, and position yourself as a trusted resource rather than just another salesperson pitching a service.
You understand that sales is about consistency. You know that not every conversation will turn into a deal, but you also know that relationships, follow-up, and daily activity eventually create results.
You're competitive, but you're also genuine. You know how to build trust and play the long game.
You want to work for a company where your contributions matter, where you can work directly with leadership, and where you have the opportunity to help grow a market.
Most importantly, you're excited to get out into San Diego, build relationships, and win new business.
