Job Description: Tubular Dryer Operator – 3rd Shift
Location: Maiden, NC
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, overtime required
Job Summary:
The Tubular Dryer Operator will operate and monitor textile drying equipment, make adjustments as needed, and inspect finished fabric to ensure it meets quality and production standards. Textile experience is a plus, but candidates with machine operating experience who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor tubular fabric drying equipment
- Feed fabric into the dryer and monitor the drying process
- Monitor machine settings and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished fabric for moisture, wrinkles, defects, and overall quality
- Monitor fabric as it moves through the drying process
- Assist with loading and unloading fabric rolls
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and production procedures
- Report equipment or quality issues to the supervisor
- Meet production and quality expectations
Skills and Qualifications:- Previous machine operating experience preferred
- Textile experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn and be trained on textile equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule and overtime may be required
- Steel-toed boots or shoes required. All other PPE provided by the client.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
