Summary:
AME, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Fort Mill, SC and help transport equipment and materials safely and efficiently to various job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate CDL Class A trucks, conducting pre-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and following safety regulations
- Must be able to drive manual transmission
- Load, unload, and secure materials across various terrains
- Perform vehicle maintenance, fueling, and servicing, including understanding air brake systems
- Travel to job sites, assist with equipment transport, and complete tasks as directed by supervisors
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL2+years of experience with hauling heavy equipment (4+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, vehicle maintenance, and DOT compliance
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to travel and work weekends if necessary
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs., work outdoors for 10-12 hours, and navigate rough terrain
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
