LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Cardiothoracic Surgery MD in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52403!Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician in Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Weekend Only, Light Volume Provide weekend call coverage within an established cardiothoracic surgery program featuring manageable case volume and recurring coverage opportunities throughout the year. Practice & Cases Inpatient adult cardiothoracic surgery setting Full scope cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery coverage Mix of operative cases and consultative call responsibilities Includes open-heart surgery, pacemaker procedures, and cardiovascular surgical care Schedule1-2 weekends per month Typical coverage runs from Friday evening through Monday morning Additional holiday and vacation coverage opportunities available Call coverage limited to assigned weekends
Requirements:
- Must be an MD or DOActive Iowa license required or open to Interstate Medical Licensure Compact physicians
- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic SurgeryACLS, BLS, and DEA required
- LogisticsAirfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
- Travel arrangements coordinated before each assignment
