Downstream Operator
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:45 AM – 8:00 PM
Shift Length: Approximately 12.25 hours
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Conversion: Eligible for permanent hire after 520 hours, based on attendance, performance, and completion of Downstream Operator training.
Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable Downstream Operators with previous construction or manufacturing experience. This is a hands-on production position that requires employees to remain on their feet for the majority of a 12-hour shift. Operators are assigned to a production line and are responsible for assisting with the downstream process, including coiling pipe and supporting production operations in their assigned work area.
Requirements:- Previous construction or manufacturing experience required
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment
- Ability to stand for approximately 12 hours
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
- Must wear steel-toe footwear when reporting to work
- Must successfully complete a skills assessment
- Must meet client background requirements, including no disqualifying felony convictions within the past 7 years
- All candidates are subject to final client approval
- ScheduleEmployees work approximately 15 days per month on a rotating schedule.
- The schedule includes every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off, providing extended weekends throughout the month.
- BreaksDuring each shift, employees receive:
- Two paid 15-minute breaks
- One 30-minute lunch break
- Lunch is paid when the employee remains onsite
- Employees must clock out if leaving the premises during lunchPPEEmployees are required to provide their own steel-toe shoes or boots. All other required personal protective equipment will be provided by the company.
