Accounting Associate

Hourly Rate: $20-$25/hour

Reports to: Corporate Controllers

Location: Woodridge, ILAMS Industries, Inc. is a leading mechanical contracting firm serving the commercial, industrial, refrigeration, and nuclear industries (PMT). Located in our Woodridge, IL facility and reporting to the Corporate Controllers, the Accounting Associate will handle a broad range of accounting duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes.

Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable function including the coding and data entry of invoices. Provide general support with payroll activities. Function as a liaison between accounting personnel and others within the organization. Other duties and responsibilities reasonable and consistent with the position as may be assigned to you.

Qualifications: High School diploma, GED, Associates degree or equivalent experienec. A positive disposition with an ability to work in teams. An eagerness to learn and grow in the position. Self-motivation with a desire to assume more responsibility. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel and Word. Must have above-average proofreading skills and have a history of being accurate and thorough.
