Data Integration Engineering Manager

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Manager, Database Integration to lead data integration initiatives supporting manufacturing and enterprise operations. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize database and ETL/ELT solutions that connect ERP, manufacturing, CRM, and analytics platforms. Partnering closely with IT, operations, and business teams, you will ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance data flows. You will guide standards, mentor technical contributors, drive automation and continuous improvement, and help enable data-driven decision-making across Honda’s U.S. operations. Lead design, implementation, and optimization of database integration solutions supporting manufacturing and enterprise systems Manage ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from ERP, manufacturing, CRM, and other operational platforms Collaborate with application, manufacturing, and analytics teams to define data integration requirements and standards Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across integrated data flows Oversee performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting for integration jobs and database connections Coordinate and mentor a small technical team or external partners delivering integration projects Document integration architectures, data mappings, and operational procedures Drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization of integration processes SQL development and performance tuning ETL/ELT design and implementation Database administration concepts (relational and cloud databases) Data modeling and schema design API-based and batch data integration Data quality and governance practices Linux/Windows scripting for automation Version control (Git) and CI/CD for data workflows Cloud data services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Manufacturing or ERP system integration (e.g., SAP, MES) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, AWS Data Analytics, Oracle Database, or similar a plus Experience with ETL/ELT tools and integration platforms (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, MuleSoft, etc.) Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance practices in a manufacturing or enterprise environment
