Hardware Engineering & Connected Devices Internship
Location: Boca Raton Headquarters
Format: In-person Monday-Thursday and remote Fridays*Dates: May 17-July 29, 2027 About the Internship Program This 11-week program places interns on teams where they'll contribute to meaningful and impactful projects from day one. Throughout the summer, interns also get exposure to ADT as a whole: sessions with different business units, briefings on current company priorities, and time with our executive leadership team, alongside a dedicated professional development track. Where You Could Work Depending on team needs and background, interns may be placed in: Hardware Engineering Product Testing & Validation Device Quality Engineering Connected Devices IoT Testing & Performance Placement is based on business needs, skillsets, and academic background. Project work may include testing and validating hardware products, evaluating device performance, analyzing test results, supporting engineering improvements, assisting with product quality initiatives, and helping ensure connected devices meet customer and business requirements.
Qualifications:- RequiredCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028 Completion of at least two upper-level (300/400) courses relevant to the internship discipline
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

Compensation & Internship Details Compensation: $24/hour for undergraduates, $28/hour for those enrolled in a graduate program.
Work Schedule:
A 40-hour workweek is expected, with interns on-site from Monday to Thursday in our Boca Raton Headquarters, and the option to work remotely on Fridays, depending on team schedules. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship. Must be available for the entire duration of the internship program, from May 17-July 29, 2027. Housing allowance and relocation assistance are not offered for Internship roles.
