Chief Financial Officer

Role Description: The Chief Financial Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Durant, OK, responsible for overseeing all financial functions of a self-employed business. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining financial plans and budgets, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and managing cash flow to support ongoing operations. The CFO oversees financial reporting, ensures compliance with relevant regulations and tax requirements, and provides data-driven insights to guide strategic business decisions. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, assessing financial risks and opportunities, coordinating with external advisors (such as accountants or legal counsel), and supporting long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications: Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience in overall financial management and business planning. Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting and long-term financial strategy. Ability to prepare, interpret, and optimize Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Experience with Financial Reporting, including regulatory compliance, tax documentation, and performance reporting. Advanced Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data, assessing risks, and supporting sound decision-making. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage. Strong proficiency with accounting and financial software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial setting. Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and advisors.
