Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Work Environment: This full-time position operates onsite within our diverse rehabilitation facility in Punta Gorda. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a consistent routine that allows for optimal patient interaction and continuity of care. Working alongside a team of professionals, you will engage directly with patients, utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques in a supportive and energizing environment.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments to efficiently identify and address the individual objectives and needs of your patients. Manage patient caseloads by conducting focused therapy sessions, averaging one-on-one appointments each hour. Develop and implement comprehensive care plans incorporating diverse treatment methods tailored to each patient's unique situation. Administer effective, evidence-based treatments aimed at improving range of motion and mobility while reducing dependency on medications. Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs to empower patients in their recovery journey. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and maintain clear documentation of services provided. Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles by enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination throughout their rehabilitation process. Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily serve our orthopedic patient population, which includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our practice is focused on delivering personalized care that empowers patients to regain strength, mobility, and independence. With a patient-centered approach, you will play a vital role in improving patients' overall functionality and their quality of life.

Qualifications: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. Must possess a valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist. A clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary action against the license is essential. Demonstrate strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice. Proficiency in creating effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs. Familiarity with WebPT EMR software is highly desired to enhance clinical documentation efficiency.

Preferred Experience: Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes. A solid understanding of rehabilitation modalities relevant to orthopedic care will be advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families as well as within multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your level of experience and expertise.
