APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/TeleWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
This position requires coverage for a night shift, working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a schedule of four 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend coverage is required every other week.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for caring for patients with various diagnoses, including:
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Pneumonia
Non-specific abdominal pain
Cellulitis
Chest pain with a rule-out for other conditions
Patient Ratios:
Days:
1:6
Nights: 1:7
Weekends: 1:8
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Epic experience is required
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Essential Skills:
Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Use of Rapid Response and Code teams
Blood product administration
Central and peripheral line care, including PICC line management
Starting and maintaining IVs
Management of cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) and seizure disorders
Substance withdrawal management
BiPAP/CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
Oxygen administration and management of oxygen tanks
Isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
Registered Nurses are required to wear a nursing uniform in any color.
