A well-established Syracuse professional services organization is looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong accounting and reconciliation skills who enjoys problem-solving and working with internal teams and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile daily cash receipts across accounting systems, including deposits and credit card payments
- Prepare daily receipts and account balance reports and ensure accurate cash balancing
- Investigate and resolve billing, reconciliation, and payment discrepancies
- Work with internal teams and clients to address account issues and support collections
- Identify data errors and assist with implementing controls to prevent recurring issues
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Follow company policies and procedures related to compliance and confidentiality
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of accounts receivable and cash application experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
