We are a local, family-owned general contractor serving the Omaha metro area, specializing in residential and commercial remodeling, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and a variety of other construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with some construction experience who wants steady, year-round work, exposure to multiple areas of construction, and the opportunity to grow their skills and advance within the company. You'll work alongside an experienced Lead Carpenter and assist with a variety of remodeling and construction tasks. Because our projects vary, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of the trade. What You'll Do:
As a Construction Laborer, you'll work alongside a Lead Carpenter and assist with day-to-day work on a variety of remodeling and construction projects. Responsibilities may include: Assisting the Lead Carpenter with daily jobsite tasksDemolition and jobsite preparationAssisting with framing and general carpentryAssisting with trim and finish workWindow and door installationSidingDeck constructionTile and other remodeling workLoading, unloading, and moving tools and materialsSetting up and cleaning up jobsitesMaintaining an organized and professional work areaLearning proper use of construction tools and equipmentFollowing instructions and completing assigned tasksHelping the crew keep projects moving efficiently Our remodeling projects vary, so no two jobs are exactly the same. You'll have the opportunity to work on and learn multiple areas of construction rather than performing the same task every day.
