Job Description:
We are a growing aerospace precision machining company seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector to join our quality team. We specialize in tight-tolerance machining for demanding aerospace applications and are looking for someone who takes pride in precision, accuracy, and process control.
Responsibilities:
Program and operate CMM equipment for first article, in-process, and final inspectionsInspect complex aerospace components to tight tolerancesRead and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&TCreate and maintain inspection plans and quality documentationPerform AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAIRs) Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, optical comparators, and height gaugesWork closely with machinists, programmers, and engineering to resolve quality issues and improve processesEnsure compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer specificationsQualificationsExperience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS, or similar softwareStrong understanding of GD&T and aerospace inspection requirementsExperience with AS9100 and ISO standards preferredAbility to inspect complex machined components with tight tolerancesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityExperience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing preferredWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceClean, modern, climate-controlled shopAdvanced equipment and challenging aerospace workStable long-term career opportunityPaid time off and benefits packageOpportunity for growth in a high-end manufacturing environmentLocation: [Southampton Ma. ]
