The idea candidate will oversee safe and proper manufacturing of the company's products. In order to do this, the candidate will troubleshoot issues, ensure the efficient day to day operations of the company, and coordinating a team of production employees to make sure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced. Responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality standards, safety compliance, and team performance within a manufacturing environment. Directs and supports employees by assigning work, providing coaching, resolving issues, and administering company policies and union contract provisions fairly. Drives continuous improvement, cross-training, and employee development to enhance flexibility, productivity, and operational excellence. Accountable for meeting production goals, labor utilization, inventory accuracy, scrap reduction, and budget targets. Ensures equipment is properly maintained and promotes a safe, clean workplace. Requires strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience, with at least five years in manufacturing and two years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities: What Will You Do?
- Responsible for maintaining uninterrupted production flow or high-quality products in the most economical way within the manufacturing limits.
- Fairly administer company rules and policies and adhere to Union contract provisions.
- Regularly educate employees in safe working processes, environmental compliance issues, personal health and safety issues, and general housekeeping conditions.
- Provide leadership for quality within the group. Is accountable for the total quality environment.
- Promote cross training and continuous improvement for all employees to:o Provide a greater depth of knowledge per average employeeo Create more flexibility on all levels of the manufacturing process.o Ensure existence and use of safety devices and equipment

Qualifications
Education:- A.S. degree in business, technical or related, BS preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
Experience:- Minimum five years in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of two years effectively leading others.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:- Must have strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to supervise others. Provide guidance, development and motivation to staff to achieve superior results and accomplish overall business objectives.
- Requires strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities. Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment is a must.
- Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and accomplish a diversified work load.
- Basic computer skills, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and email software
