CNC Maintenance Technician

Location: Lincolnshire, IL

Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. OR, 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. Pay Ranges: Level II: $28.00 – $30.00 / hour Level III: $32.00 – $38.00 / hour

About the Role: Keep our production running smoothly! We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to handle preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across facility systems and heavy‑duty machining equipment. (Valves and Metal stamping) You will work directly with low‑voltage electrical controls, logic controllers, and standard plant machinery to maintain a top‑tier manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform PMs and repairs on CNC machinery, coolant/oil/filter changes, and electrical inspections.
• System Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose low‑voltage electrical controls, logic controllers, and PLCs (Fanuc & Mitsubishi).Facility & Safety Support:
• Maintain facility operations (HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, generators), support fire/safety inspections, and safely handle waste materials.
• Standard Work:
• Complete daily task lists, log event reports, manage priority requests, and assist with inventory levels.
• What We Are Looking ForExperience: 5+ years in maintenance, ideally within a machining, manufacturing, or tool & die environment.
• Equipment Expertise: Hands‑on experience with CNC lathes, CNC mills, bar feeders, centerless/surface grinders, band saws, manual mills/lathes, air compressors, air dryers, material handling equipment, electrostatic filters, and hoists.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with PLC/CNC controls, Fanuc & Mitsubishi logic, and CMMS software (Maintenance Connection preferred).Physical Ability: Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs, work on ladders/scaffolds, and handle routine physical labor safely.
