Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in buying or purchasing manufacturing componentsExperience buying or purchasing in the military, defense, medical or aerospace industryStrong understanding of ERP systemsProficient in ExcelBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or BusinessAdditional Skills: (not required) Experience improving buying / purchasing processesResponsibilities: Manage purchasing of machined components and complex assemblies in a high-pressure manufacturing environmentNegotiate pricing, price breaks, long-term agreements, lead times, and priority commitments with suppliersMonitor purchasing performance including PPV, supplier delivery, material availability, and cost savings opportunitiesBuild strong supplier relationships and proactively resolve shortages, delivery issues, and production constraintsManage purchasing activities through ERP systems while maintaining accurate supplier, pricing, and order informationIdentify and implement improvements to purchasing processes, supplier performance, and overall procurement efficiency
