Job Responsibilities: •Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments of wood products and materials
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Inspect wood products for quality and report any defects or issues
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and upkeep as needed
- Follow proper lifting techniques and safety guidelines when handling heavy materials
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding inventory levels, order status, and any operational issues
Skills Required:
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Familiarity with wood products and lumber terminology a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations in a warehouse setting
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekend shifts as needed
