Job Location: Melrose Park, IL 60160 Pay and Hours for Job:
Pay: $19-$20 / per hour depending on experience
Schedule: 10:00pm-6:00am Monday-Friday
Job Description:
Food manufacturing company is seeking Temp-to-Hire 3rd Shift Packaging Machine Operators to work in Melrose Park, IL.
Job responsibilities include:- Setup machines, conduct basic troubleshooting, loading, films, settings, monitors to assure all is running efficiently.
- Operate and maintain the packaging and production machines.
- Monitor and assist with equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation.
- Follow packaging schedule, quality control and sanitation procedures concerning, weights, packs, descriptions, Best Buy dates, cleanup and changeovers
- Ability to clean machines and work area properly during and after production runs or changeovers
- Responsible for reporting all food safety and quality issues to supervisor
- Follow supervisor’s directives and be able to support the shift team as needed.
- Experience needed for the role:
- Must have experience with operating and maintaining packaging & production machines and ensuring the entire production line is running efficiently.
