Real Estate Associate (3-8 yrs exp) - Los Angeles

Responsibilities: Represent clients in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions Draft, review, and negotiate documents involving: Acquisitions and dispositions Real estate financings Joint ventures Investment fund structures Commercial leasing transactions Conduct and manage transactional due diligence Assist with structuring complex real estate investments and transactions Coordinate closing processes and manage transaction deliverables Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, investors, and other transaction participants Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, finance, tax, environmental, and other related practices Manage multiple sophisticated transactions and competing deadlines simultaneously Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Approximately 3-8 years of commercial real estate transactional experience Experience with a broad range of sophisticated real estate transactions Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and transaction-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities High level of academic achievement Ability to work effectively within large, collaborative deal teams Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Prior experience at a leading law firm preferred Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in several of the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply: Commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions Real estate finance Joint ventures Real estate private equity Fund formation Commercial leasing Institutional real estate investments Complex portfolio transactions Why This Opportunity Our client offers an exceptional platform for attorneys looking to develop a market-leading commercial real estate practice.
