You will perform detailed neuro assessments, administer medications and IV therapies, monitor telemetry and vital trends, and coordinate interdisciplinary care from admission through discharge. Provide comprehensive nursing care to neuro and trauma MedSurg patients Perform frequent neuro and head-to-toe assessments and respond to clinical changes Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately Monitor vitals, telemetry, and labs; escalate concerns to providers promptly Coordinate interdisciplinary care and collaborate with physicians and therapists Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR with accuracy Support a culture of compassion, safety, and teamwork on the unit Precept and mentor new staff as assigned Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Neuro assessment Trauma nursing care MedSurg nursing Telemetry monitoring IV therapy and medication administration Care planning and coordination Wound care Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Patient and family education Acute care clinical decision-making Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license BLS certification ACLS certification Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred Neuroscience nursing certification (CNRN) preferred
