Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time with Weekend Availability Required
At Haven of Bement, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Bement, Illinois. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Follow infection control and sanitation procedures in a healthcare setting
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and carts
- Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and other supplies
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing items
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment throughout the facility
- Respond promptly and professionally to housekeeping requests
Qualifications:- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Healthcare or nursing home experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
