With a focus on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical drive and control technology, the company serves demanding markets including construction machinery, mining equipment, the energy sector, and maritime applications. As part of a planned growth phase, we are looking for aGas Engine Expert (m/f/d)
The Role:
  • Defining and managing performance requirements for gas engines using different gas qualities
  • Ensuring the consistent application of criteria relating to efficiency, power density, emissions and ro-bustness
  • Optimising mixture preparation, ignition systems and the combustion chamber
  • Contributing to key technical decisions (turbocharging, gas mixture, ignition systems, etc.)Supporting the application and field service teams in root cause analysis, fault diagnosis and the definition of corrective measures
  • Establishing and maintaining an in-ternal and external network of ex-perts to ensure knowledge transfer within the organisation
  • The Requirements
  • Degree (Master's or Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering, Powertrain Engineering or Industrial Engineering; alternatively, technical vocational training
  • At least three years of professional experience in the field of gas engine manufacturing within complex, in-ternationally oriented corporate structures
  • In-depth specialist knowledge of the calibration and application of gas engines
  • Ability to define and manage performance requirements
  • Solid expertise in best practices and design principles
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of French is an advantage
