Accounting ClerkPay: $17-$20/hrGENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:Primary responsibility is to accurately and efficiently prepare, examine, and analyze accounting related information while abiding by all safety guidelines. Effectively communicate customer service issues and request to management. Maintain a friendly and professional environment when dealing with customers and peers. Perform any other duties as directed by management. EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:Match vendor invoices to receiving documentsProblem solve any invoice discrepanciesPost invoices into the computer systemGenerate accounts payable and refund checksResearch statements, phone calls, and discrepanciesFile invoices and statementsAssist with safe audits as directed by manager, distribute inter-department/company mail and incoming mail on a rotating scheduleUse computer to process informationAnalyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solutionDevelop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your workCommunicate with supervisors and peersPerform clerical dutiesEMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; ability to communicate effectively with team members; must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver's license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; positive attitude when working with customers. Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.
