Job Description:- Openwork is assisting a firearm manufacturing company located in Smyrna GA seek machine operators. Shift is 2PM to 10PM. Pay is $17.72 per hour. Please apply if you meet the below qualifications are are interested in this machine operator position.
- General Purpose:
- Supports the manufacture of Slides and Barrels by performing a variety of tasks related to machine operation including manual andCNC machines.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- NoneDuties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Responsible for the daily production of slides and barrels following the standard operating procedures (working instructions) toachieve GLOCK quality and production goals.
- Utilizes hand-tools such as files and de-burring tools to achieve set specifications.
- Performs quality inspections making visual checks to assure compliance with specifications; examines parts for surfacedefects and damage.
- Performs quality control using custom measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, etc.
- Immediately reports errors in production and performance to Manufacturing Supervisor / Area Technical Lead
- Operates manual and semiautomatic machines.
- Operates metal cutting equipment such as milling machines, lathes, saw, etc.
- Can understand and follows the standard operating procedures including inspections and other instructions.
- Maintains work station by cleaning equipment and work area with appropriate materials.
- Maintains a high level of safety and cleanliness in the manufacturing area

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
