1st Shift Seamstress - Production Associate

Job Summary: We have an opening for a part-time Sewer with flexible hours. This position will be responsible for sewing and assembling aprons and related components for the hospitality industry. The position will start at approximately 20+ hours per week, with hours expected to increase to 35+ hours per week as we get closer to the holidays. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a starting pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PMEssential Job DutiesSew and assemble aprons and components promptly and accurately Operate industrial sewing equipment Read and correctly interpret specifications based on customer orders Accurately read and use measuring devices with 1/16” accuracy Spot flaws, defects, and color shade differences Ensure quality by checking completed work Maintain consistent production and quality standards Identify process improvements and help develop new ideas Work on rush orders as needed Follow safety and housekeeping standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform other job-related duties as assigned Required Experience & Education High School Diploma or GEDPrevious sewing experience required Experience operating industrial sewing equipment preferred Ability to read, write, and speak English Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and punctuality

Starting pay: $17.50 per hour
