About the Role:
This role calls for two backgrounds that rarely appear in the same candidate. Field credibility. Ours is a residential business. Reps generate their own opportunities, close in the home, and work directly with adjusters. The person leading this organization needs to have done that work personally. Demonstrated scaling. This is not a first leadership seat for a strong field manager. We are hiring someone who has already grown a sales organization beyond a single team in a single market, and who built the recruiting, ramp, and management structure that made the growth sustainable. Candidates with one of the two are common. We are looking for both. We would also note that this is a residential home services role. Enterprise and B2B sales leadership (i.e. long procurement cycles, quota-carrying account executives, RFP-driven pipelines) does not translate well to this environment, and candidates from that background are unlikely to be a fit.
Responsibilities:
The Atlanta revenue number. We're at the front end of a run to $20M by Q4 2027. You own how we get there.
Building the sales organization, not just running it. Today's Pod Leader and Project Manager bench needs to roughly double. That means a recruiting pipeline that actually produces, a ramp plan that works, and sales leadership hired and developed beneath you.
Production per rep as we add headcount. Growing the roster is the easy half. Keeping revenue per rep from sliding while you do it is the job.
Self-generated volume. Canvassing, neighborhood saturation after weather events, referral generation off completed jobs. Lead flow we create, not lead flow we buy.
Direct coaching where it moves the number — top performers, new hires, and anyone at risk of walking. Through your managers where you can, personally where you have to.
Our realtor and referral partner program, run day-to-day through our Business Development Manager.
Claim intake and report writing throughput as our drone inspection program scales — the back end that keeps closed deals moving into production.
The operating rhythm. Weekly Pod Leader 1:1s, monthly sales meetings, and tight coordination with Production, Claims, and Marketing.
The commercial channel. Small in our mix today, real by 2027. You'll hire and build it — you don't need to have sold it.
Qualifications:
Where You Came FromYou've knocked doors and closed in homes yourself — and you'd still do a ride-along to show a new rep how. You carried a personal number in residential home services — roofing, restoration, exteriors, solar, or similar. What You've Built SinceYou've taken a sales organization from one team to several. You can tell us the headcount before and after, and what happened to revenue per rep along the way. You've opened or scaled a second or third market, branch, or territory — and you know what the first twelve months actually cost. You've hired and developed sales managers, not only reps. There has been a layer beneath you and you built it. You've installed the infrastructure that makes growth repeatable: a recruiting pipeline, a ramp plan, a comp plan that held up under pressure, CRM discipline, and a forecast leadership could trust. Your team's performance survived your absence. The systems ran without you in the room. You've led a team through $15M+ in annual residential volume, or led a piece of a larger operation and can show the production that came off your bench. Experience inside a PE-backed or multi-location home services platform is strongly preferred. You know what reporting discipline and growth targets look like when there's a board involved. CRM fluency. AccuLynx strongly preferred; Spotio and HubSpot a plus. Clean driving record and a valid state-issued license. You'll be in the field most days.
