Are you a hands‐on problem solver with a passion for heavy equipment? We are hiring Diesel Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our Huntsville, AL team and help keep the wheels turning! We’re looking for skilled mechanics who thrive on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining lift trucks and other industrial machinery. What You’ll Do:
Inspect lift trucks and identify repair needs with precision.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems to keep equipment running smoothly.
Plan and coordinate major repairs, including estimating materials and time requirements.
Repair gasoline, diesel, and propane‐powered engines with confidence.
Inspect, adjust, and replace mechanical components as needed.
Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot cooling, fuel, electrical, and exhaust systems.
Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Operate equipment for testing and diagnostics.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong knowledge of lift truck maintenance, tools, and repair methods.
Expertise in mechanical and electrical systems for gasoline and diesel engines.
Familiarity with hydraulic systems, welding, and fabrication techniques.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Must have your own hand tools.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Physical capability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
Education & Experience:
Vocational or formal training in hydraulics and diesel engine repair preferred.
A minimum 2-3 years of experience in diesel mechanics and hydraulics.
