A Brief Overview: You will join a team of 29 partners in the multispecialty General Surgery Division, specifically with 9 surgeons dedicated to acute care/trauma services. The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in critical care, colorectal, minimally invasive, bariatric, and hepatobiliarysubspecialties..Responsibilities include: Coverage of in-house Level 1 Trauma and Emergency General Surgery at Evanston Hospital; Coverage of Level 2 Trauma Call and Emergency General Surgery at Skokie, Glenbrook, Highland Park Hospitals; Coverage of Emergency General Surgery Call at Swedish Hospital Four to six hours per month of general surgery post op clinic; Coverage (Optional) of critical care in the Surgical ICU at Evanston and Skokie Hospitals Oversears residency and fellowship programs through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
