If you answered yes to these questions - we have the perfect job for you...Founders 3 Management Company and F3 Marina is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support the Halifax Marina. The preferred work schedule for this position 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with weekends required.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect and maintain the docks, piers, dock lighting, security systems and other marine structures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance.
- Assist groundskeepers with overall curb appeal of the property.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs as needed.
- Boat Handling and Customer Service:
- Assist boat owners with docking, launching, and mooring their vessels.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of marina facilities and equipment.
- Assist in emergency response procedures, including fire safety and first aid.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field
- Knowledge of boat handling techniques and marina operations, preferred
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license
