Performance Expectations
The Social Media Intern will work from an established schedule and content plan developed with the Communications Department. Interns will be expected to consistently meet monthly content-production goals, attend required training and meetings, complete assignments by established deadlines, and maintain regular communication with their supervisor.
Because Mississippi Votes’ work happens throughout the community, some assignments may take place outside of normal office hours, including occasional evenings or weekends. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible.
Compensation
This is a paid internship at $15.00 per hour. The intern must maintain a regular schedule of at least three working days per wee k, with specific hours established in coordination with the Communications Department.
