Responsibilities:- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry in accordance with established procedures
- Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect and clean patient linens and equipment to ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation
- Maintain accurate records of laundry production and inventory
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and equipment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
Requirements:- 1 year of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
