Asset Management Associate - Real Estate CreditReal Estate Lending MiamiWe’re working with a leading US private real estate lender on an exciting opportunity for an Asset Management Associate to join their growing team in Miami. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing existing portfolio investments, working closely with borrowers, consultants, legal counsel and internal teams to mitigate risk and maximise property values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor borrower business plans, financial and technical covenants
- Act as a key contact for borrowers and vendors
- Review legal documentation and draft legal notices
- Analyse property financials and construction progress
- Coordinate with servicing teams to ensure timely payments
- Work with external counsel on loan documents and covenant enforcement
- Prepare reports and analysis on existing investments
- Work with consultants and participate in asset/site inspections
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years experience within an asset management role, within real estate (equity or debt)
- Strong analytical, organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong numerical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Engineering or Real Estate preferred
