Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including wound care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoringDevelop and follow individualized patient care plans in coordination with RNs and physiciansPerform skilled nursing assessments and document patient progress accuratelyEducate patients and family members on care procedures, medications, and health managementCommunicate changes in patient condition to supervising RN or physician promptlyMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with home care regulationsCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of care Requirements: Active Florida LPN license in good standingPrevious home care, long-term care, or clinical nursing experience preferredStrong knowledge of medication administration and wound care protocolsExcellent communication, documentation, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in a home care settingValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredCPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hireCompassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a commitment to quality care About Us: Argan Home Care is a trusted home health provider serving the Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte, FL and surrounding communities, dedicated to helping patients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
