Emergency Department Registered NurseThe Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care within the emergency department. They must possess the ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations effectively. A thorough knowledge of nursing principles is essential. Strong assessment skills regarding patients' clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs are required. Safety is a priority, and the RN must recognize issues for themselves and others. Assessment and implementation of safe patient lifting techniques must be demonstrated. The ability to manage stress and utilize problem-solving skills creatively is crucial. Leadership skills are necessary for prioritizing and delegating tasks. The ED RN may take on charge nurse responsibilities. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are essential in this role.
