The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan, with a strong focus on development to drive aggressive growth in unrestricted revenue. This role requires a leader who can ensure the Division's goals are in line with the organization's mission, and who can effectively collaborate with regional colleagues to enhance cross-functional opportunities. The Executive Director will also be tasked with strengthening the Division's fundraising capacity, leading special events, and fostering partnerships to improve visibility and financial resources. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role, and a proven track record in team building and achieving set goals. The role demands the ability to influence and engage executive-level volunteers, as well as the skill to establish and execute a strategic plan in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with national voluntary health organizations and a deep understanding of the mission and programs related to cardiovascular health. The Executive Director will be expected to lead a professional work environment that values collaboration, trust, and integrity, and to ensure that the Division operates in accordance with the organization's policies and standards.
