Explore New Haven, CTNew Haven, CT keeps its diagnostic labs and outpatient rehab clinics close to the downtown medical blocks and the neighborhoods toward the harbor. The city anchors the Connecticut coast where I-95 and I-91 split at the edge of downtown, with Route 34 spurring in toward the center. The central green and the Sound nearby give an easy walk after a shift, close to where most of the work sits. Travelers often look to Hamden to the north or shoreline towns like Branford for housing a step out from the center. Metro-North trains from Union Station run down the shoreline to New York, a commuting option few mid-size markets can offer.
