Position Summary: Your Expertise. Their Future. Pass on your mastery of sonography and mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals at Pima Medical Institute! We are seeking a passionate Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Renton campus faculty.

Dynamic Teaching: Design and deliver engaging daily lesson plans, classroom lectures, and practical demonstrations aligned with program objectives. Lab Supervision: Lead lab sessions, demonstrate proper scanning procedures, provide hands-on assistance, and strictly enforce laboratory safety protocols. Enrichment Activities: Coordinate guest lectures, community service opportunities, and clinical site visits; may assist with student externship coordination. Student Success & Academic Support Academic Advising: Evaluate student performance, adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles, and maintain office hours to advise students on curriculum progression. Retention Management: Proactively monitor performance and attendance to maintain an 80%+ student success rate across all courses. Early Intervention: Collaborate with Student Services and the Associate Director to support at-risk students (e.g., course averages below 77% or consecutive absences). Grade & Record Management: Maintain accurate student grades per institutional policies, submit weekly attendance reports, and prepare final grades at course completion.
