CVICU RN - Night ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position.3x12 Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with a chance of rotating 11a-11p shifts based on unit needs. The CVICU RN will provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill cardiac surgery patients. Candidates should have immediate open heart post-operative experience and the ability to handle complex patient care.
Responsibilities:
Manage critical care patients post cardiac surgery.
Administer medications and monitor patient hemodynamics.
Utilize advanced technologies such as ECMO and CRRT.Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2.Required
Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Active Maryland RN License. Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience, including immediate post-op care.
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH required; OCN and TCNN preferred.
Experience with Epic charting system is required.
