Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and contribute to narrative commercial real estate appraisal reports, with responsibilities tailored to experience level
  • Conduct market research and analyze leases, operating expenses, and property data
  • Research and evaluate comparable sales and lease information
  • Conduct on-site property inspections, including occasional out-of-state travel
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate, high-quality appraisal reports and exceptional client service
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple assignments
  • Genuine interest in commercial real estate valuation and professional development Preferred, but Not Required
  • Experience in commercial real estate appraisal, real estate, or finance
  • Illinois Certified General Appraiser or Associate Real Estate Trainee Appraiser license
  • Familiarity with commercial property valuation and appraisal report preparation
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Potential annual compensation of $50,000–$125,000, depending on experience, performance, and production o Guaranteed annualized salary of $50,000–$65,000 during the initial training period, negotiable based on qualifications and experience o Following training, appraisers transition to a production-based fee-split compensation structure with a recoverable draw, offering opportunities for increased earnings based on experience, production, and quality of work
