Job Description: - Location: Asheville, NC - Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - Unit: CICU (Cardiac Intensive Care Unit) - Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM - Bed Capacity: 16 - Patient Ratios: 2:1 or 1:1 (occasionally 3:1 depending on acuity) Key Responsibilities: - Provide outstanding care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment. - Work with advanced technology and equipment, including: - Ventilators - Telemetry systems - Baxter IV Pumps - IABP - CRRT - Impella - Hypothermia devices Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required. - Proficient in: - Titration of Vesicant Medications - Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics - Ventilator Management and Trach care - Telemetry Interpretation - Hemodynamics and PA Catheter Setup and Interpretation - Preferred skills: - IABP - Impella - CRRT Procedures Performed on Unit: - Cardioversion - Central Line Insertion - EGD - Bronchoscopy - Chest Tube Insertions - Pericardiocentesis - Thoracentesis Dress Code: - Required: Navy or Navy and White Scrubs - Note: No pullovers or hoodies, green scrubs permitted only if uniform is soiled Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
