Job Description:
The position of Painter is responsible for prepping and painting signs, sign faces and cabinets.
DUTIES:
Ability to Paint Aluminum, Steel, or PlasticProperly prep a variety of substrates for paintPrep items for painting to include masking, sanding and applying bondoPaint mixing and matchingPaint within a spray booth using HLVP gunsMaintain paint equipment (spray guns, booth filters, etc.)Mask and disassemble signs/material for paint, sand, minor body work, rigging and assisting in moving signsMaintain clean and safe work areaKnowledge of gravity feed and pressure pot systemsTo become a part of our team we require applicants for our Painter position to have the following qualifications: SKILLSAbility to move or carry ( with assistance) large or heavy materialKnowledge of OSHA and PPR requirements for paintingAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentOrganized, detailed and deadline orientedAbility to prioritize and follow directions per production ordersEXPERIENCEMETAL PAINTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED or the equivalent of experience in autobody painting.
