Our privately owned small animal veterinary hospital in Coram, NY is hiring a Kennel Assistant / Animal Care Attendant to support our boarding and hospital care teams.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with animals and want exposure to a veterinary hospital environment.
What You’ll Do:
Care for boarding and hospitalized pets
Feed, walk, and monitor animals
Clean kennels, cages, and hospital areas
Maintain hospital cleanliness and sanitation standards
Observe pets and report concerns to medical staff
Assist with laundry, stocking, and daily hospital upkeep
Provide comfort and enrichment to animals in our care
Schedule Requirements
Weekend and holiday availability required (boarding care coverage as needed)
Rotating schedule
Full-time or part-time options available
