Description
About This Role:
This is a production-support role, not a stockroom job. At ACME, Tool Crib Attendants are the reason machines keep running. When a machinist on the floor needs a new insert, a preset holder, or a replacement end mill at 8:30 PM, you're the person who makes it happen — fast, right, and without drama. Second shift at ACME is where a lot of the heavy production happens, and this role sits at the center of keeping it moving. You'll work directly with machinists, setup techs, and supervisors to stage tooling ahead of jobs, respond to live production demands, maintain crisp inventory, and keep the crib organized enough that anyone can find what they need in under 60 seconds. If you have a background in manufacturing and want a role where your hustle is visible and your contribution is concrete every single day, this is it.

This role ensures that tooling is accurate, labeled, available, and ready before jobs begin — and that live floor demands during production are handled quickly and correctly. The Tool Crib Attendant also maintains crib organization, tracks inventory levels, and works closely with the Tool Crib Supervisor and shop floor teams to eliminate tooling-related machine downtime.
