The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Perelman Schoolof Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates forseveral Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academicclinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area ofemergency medicine. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. ABEMcertified or board eligible.
Teaching responsibilities may include bedside teaching to medicalstudents, residents, and fellows. Additional teachingresponsibilities include lectures, journal clubs, case conferences, simulation teaching, small group discussions, and other formats. Dedication to teaching is highly valued in our department.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing emergency medicalcare to patients presented to the emergency department at HUPSpruce, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, HUP Cedar, ED Observation Unit, and Pennsylvania Hospital.
