Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The ideal candidatewill be able to interpret shop drawings, accurately read a tape measure, and produce high-quality welds while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Weld carbon steel, including plate, pipe, structural tubing, flat bar.
Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
Accurately measure materials using a tape measure and other measuring tools.
Fit, assemble, and weld components according to provided prints and specifications.
Produce high-quality welds with a strong focus on accuracy and minimal rework.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures and use equipment safely.
Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free work area.
Work efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
Communicate effectively and cooperate with leads and team members.
Adapt to changing priorities in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
Handle materials, tools, and equipment responsibly and professionally.
Qualifications:- Pass a welding test
- Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure and performing accurate measurements.
- Strong fitting, fabrication, and welding skills.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work with minimal mistakes.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and a consistent work pace.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to adapt to changing production needs while maintaining quality and safetystandards.
