About Bandana
Bandana operates as a people-first job board. The company was founded in September 2022 with the mission of making the everyday American’s life better by becoming the livelihood platform Americans trust. Bandana is the only job search platform that prioritizes job seeker filtering power. It provides a map-first experience with extensive and highly performant filtering capabilities.
Bandana exists to improve the livelihoods of hourly and entry-level workers through transparency and trust, starting with finding better jobs. The broader vision? Re-ignite the belief in the “American Dream” for workers. Specifically, the American promise that hard work can lead to success and that this applies to all, not just the privileged few.
Bandana has raised around $25M in total funding from top-tier VCs, led by General Catalyst, Craft Ventures, and more.
About the Media & Growth Team
This seeker-first approach has brought us strong growth; Bandana currently handles on average 90k DAUs and 2.5M MAUs. Bandana is live across the entire United States, and we’re just getting started. We’ve averaged 15%+ MoM growth for the last 24 months consistently since launching Bandana.com. In the last 12 months, we've grown over 250%. Most of this growth is organic. We’ve driven hundreds of millions of organic views by creating trusted salary and job content, all made in-house. Growth and user acquisition today primarily occurs via social channels (Instagram, Tik Tok, Reddit, etc.). We have a robust media team that consistently drives viral content to major DMAs on a daily basis.
